In this virtual mushroom packinghouse you will learn about food safety, as well as the practices you need to follow in a mushroom packinghouse and what to avoid in order to protect food from contamination.
Some of the topics addressed in the training include the use of baskets and containers, the correct use of hair restraints, jewelry and personal objects, worker’s personal health and hygiene, handwashing, cleaning and sanitizing practices, condensation, remaining in your work area, and traffic patterns, among others.
The training includes interactive activities and an exam at the end to evaluate the knowledge acquired.
